We are excited to partner with the County Personnel Administrators Association of California to offer the HR Directors Institute. This program is designed for current and emerging human resource directors from both within HR departments and other county departments, with a particular emphasis on succession planning and political acumen. The goals are twofold: expand application of public service leadership principles; and strengthen the California County Personnel Administrator network. Through 50-hours of onsite and virtual instruction, participants dive deep into leadership concepts, facilitated by nationally recognized faculty and county experts.

Upon successful completion, participants join a statewide network of 1,500 CSAC credential holders. The innovative design includes a 4-day residency at The Upham Hotel in Santa Barbara and tailored virtual courses. The $5,000 program registration fee includes course expenses, program materials, and breakfast/lunch during the residency. The general schedule is below. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging costs. Space is limited If participants need to cancel, the registration fee will be refunded in full if the cancellation is in writing one month or more before the program residency starts and 50% less if within one month.

Hotel Accommodations:
A room block is currently reserved at the Upham Hotel, Santa Barbara, CA. Registrants are responsible for their own accommodation arrangement and payment.
